I just had my gum frozen for dental work, my face feels like it's made of rubber.

It was a crown replacement for an accident I had in 1993, aside from that my teeth are fine, my dental health is one of the few things I can actually brag about.

There's a large moth....

....trying to get into my bedroom.

I have a fear of moths =/

EDIT: I just remembered what my previous post on this was, I'm getting a bit repetitive here.

Second Edit: It seems really determined to get in, it's purposely flying into the window, and there are now two more.

This is a siege.

My worst nightmare, well one of them at least.

Carboniferous Period (300 million years ago) - Meganeura, a dragonfly with a wingspan of two feet, and it was carnivorous.

Oh yeah, and there were spiders the size of cats living at that time too.

Sweet dreams everyone.

Question for you all

If you buy a pair of jogging bottoms with what appear to be draw strings on the front for tightening the waist, would you assume the following two things?

1- That you could actually tighten the waist by pulling on these draw strings?

2- That you could also exercise in them without constantly having to pull them up?

If your answer to either or both of these questions is yes, then you'd be wrong.

I bought a pair from Dunnes today for martial arts training tonight, I got changed and I pulled the strings before tying them in a knot. Apparently the strings are only decorative and there is in fact no draw string going through the waist.

What idiot designed these? This makes no logical sense.

Petty rant over.

As most of you who read this know, I'm from Belfast, this was also the place where the Titanic was built. Also, unless you've been living under a rock for the past few months, you'll also know that it was recently the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic.

If you're from outside of Northern Ireland and maybe you're getting a little sick of hearing about it, try to imagine what it's like over here, you ain't seen nothing yet.

If you travel through Belfast, particularly at this time, you'll find it impossible to not notice some sort of advertising that exploits the Titanic. Be it Thompson's Tea, the 3D re-release of Titanic (which the makers of had to apologise to the family of one of the crew for, it's the suicide scene, that didn't actually happen) and most ridiculous of all, Tayto Titanic Crisps.

Let's put it into perspective, they're using a disaster in which 1500 people died in order to sell things.

At the risk of sounding like an over reacting moron, I really fail to understand why Tayto seemed to think that this was a good idea.

I'm not trying to be funny here, believe me I wouldn't joke about something like this, but the way some companies are getting on is actually a joke.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not opposed to any kind of commemoration of the event, in fact I would support that, it was a very important incident in history that still has relevance today.

More of my bad humour..... poor Sergei
